Fuerteventura

          G A
You're always such a fool
             F#m B7
and in your eyes so blue
   Em A7 D
I see the life I never had before.

 D
Do yo remember when
              Em
we used to live things separate
           A
we hadn't met or thought
               D A
that could be possible.

       D
I'm glad you had your life
                     Em
so good to listen to your past
                       A
all of those things brought you
              D A
with me and now we're two.

CORO
  G A
You're always such a fool
     F#m B7
and in your eyes so blue
     Em A7 D
I see the life I never had before.
  G A
You always talk so smooth
         F#m B7
and in your voice, so true
      Em
I hear the dream
       A7 D
I never had before

 G A
But if I try to think
        F#m B7
of something better than this
      Em
heaven comes down
      A7 D
and reminds the luck we live

CHORUS

"I Didn't See It Coming" by Belle and Sebastian . . . FOLLOWING UP

As matters stand, we currently end our version on note E7.   To give it a more punchy and conclusive finish, I suggest a minor change where take all of Rachel's work for the arrangement with the vocal, which works really well, continue to build up to the last E7 as per the chord sheet and then, to finish, add on a last bit where we switch to a repeat of the earlier Bridge (Am, FMaj x 2) with a final hammer/ cut on Am.

Let's see how it works, next session! Colm

Paolo Nutini - Candy

For players interested in playing this song -   Here is a Chord/Tab update, which might give it a little richer sound -

The entire song is played in 4 chords - Am, Em, G, D7

Simultaneously - chords can also be played with the capo in the sixth fret as follows Em, Bm, D, A7

The final section/  Outro begins with the constantly repeating line

"I'll be there waiting for you"  - This is sung in four steps as follows

First - principal vocalist  - chords C, G, (x 2)

Second - principal vocalist + Add. Vocalist - chords C, Em (x 2)

Third - All Vocalists - Chords C, Em ( x2)

Fourth - All Vocalists -chords C, Em (x5) and lastly C, G (x1)
(NOTE: simultaneous to the Fourth Section of the Outro, Principal Vocalist sings as follows
"All the cut throats and their jagged edges, all of them have got me waiting and waiting
All the cheap and the sugary philosophies, have got me on the fence just waiting and waiting
All the angels and their halos, all of them just keep me waiting and waiting" (x 2)

The song would benefit from at least three guitarists, (there is a solo section for anybody interested in working that out), as well as percussion and harmonica.

  Gm  A  Dm

E7     AmSusAm
Su pequeña  huella no vuelve  más.

Dm7  G7  C7Maj
Un sendero  solo de  pena y silencio

F7Maj  Am  E7  AmA7
llegó hasta el  agua profunda.

Dm7  G7  C7Maj
Un sendero  solo de  penas  mudas

F7maj  Am  E7  Am
lle hasta la espuma.

  Gm  A  Dm
Sabe Dios que angustia  te acompañó

E7     AmSusAm
que dolores  viejos calló tu  voz,

Dm7  G7  C7Maj
para recostarte arrullada en el  canto

F7Maj  Am  E7  AmSus  Am
de  las caracolas marinas.

C7Maj  Dm7  G7

Dm7  G7  C7Maj
Te vas Alfonsina con  tu soledad,

Gm  A7  Dm
¿Qué poemas  nuevos  fuiste a buscar?

E7    Am

F  B7  E7  Am
dormida, Alfonsina, vestida de  mar.

Cinco sirenitas te  llevarán

por caminos  de algas y de coral,

y fosforescentes caballos marinos

harán una  ronda a tu  lado;

y los habitantes del  agua

van a jugar  pronto a tu  lado.

di que me he  ido.

Pink - Try

A good idea covering Pink - Try. This song, in principle, it seems difficult to play because it is disc music, but is very simple. I found a variation.

That's the original song:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTCDVfMz15M

and that's the cover I love it. They link with "Save Tonight" in the end:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di0vP2qSv6g

Chords are in this link

Am:   x02210
F:    133211 or x33211
C:    x32010
G:    320033 or 320003

(To play without a capo replace the chords above by Bm, G, D and A)

  Intro:      Am    F    C    G     x4

 Am            F               C      G
Ever wonder about what he's doing
 Am          F             C      G
How it all turned to lies
 Am             F             C      G
Sometimes I think that it's better
    Am      F      C    G
 To never ask why

 Am    F     C    G   x2

It needs a contralto or baritono voice
